FCCBL Aquafilter is a carbon block cartridge made of sintered activated carbon for treating cold drinking water and general use. It effectively reduces free chlorine (98-99%), organic compounds, and selected chlorinated pesticides (up to 85%), as well as phenol and benzene. It improves the taste and smell of water. Designed for use in RO filters, cartridge housings, and under-sink filters. It has a PZH certificate.
Description
The cartridge is made of sintered activated carbon, which removes 98% to 99% of free chlorine, chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons (improving the taste and smell of water), as well as up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides, polycyclic compounds, phenol, benzene, and organic substances from water.
Sintered carbon has a significantly larger specific surface area and a greater number of active sites, resulting in approximately 25% higher operational efficiency compared to other carbon cartridges.
The cartridge is designed for treating cold drinking water or general use water. The cartridge should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.
To extend the lifespan of the cartridge, a housing with a mechanical filter from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the carbon cartridge.
Used in reverse osmosis filters, cartridge housings, under-sink filters.
