How the RO6 wodaRO Graphite osmotic filter works

The system is designed to improve water quality using the reverse osmosis method, one of the most advanced water purification methods. Such an osmotic filter removes 90-99.99% of all contaminants present in water: mechanical impurities, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms.

The system uses a high-quality FILMTEC USA 100 GPD membrane. Combined with pre-filtration, a taste- and odor-improving cartridge, and a final mineralizer, it creates a complete water filtration system for the kitchen and home.

6 stages of water filtration

Water flowing through the RO6 wodaRO Graphite system undergoes six full stages of purification and treatment. Each stage is responsible for a different filtration range, making the entire system effective and comprehensive.

1. FCPS5-AB – a specialist polypropylene Aquafilter cartridge made using antibacterial BACinix technology. The cartridge can be used instead of the standard FCPS5 cartridge while maintaining full functionality. BACinix technology takes water filtration to a higher level: in addition to classic mechanical filtration, it has antibacterial and bacteriostatic effects on microorganisms present in the water. BACinix technology uses silver nanoparticles, a natural element with bactericidal properties.
2. FCBL10 – a carbon block cartridge that improves the taste and odor of water. It removes mechanical contaminants larger than 10 microns, chlorine and its toxic derivatives, eliminates lead and toxic heavy metals, and removes organic compounds, including bacteria.
3. FCPS1 – a mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric. It is responsible for removing larger, undissolved mechanical contaminants from water, such as rust, suspended solids, sand, or silt, down to 1 micron.
4. FILMTEC 100 – an osmotic membrane from an American company meeting the highest NSF standards. It is a set of semi-permeable thin-film membranes. Combined with polypropylene nonwoven and activated carbon filters, it allows you to obtain truly clean and healthy water. The osmotic membrane removes up to 99% of all compounds dissolved in water, as well as bacteria and viruses.
5. AV-GAC-L – an inline carbon cartridge filled with activated carbon media. The applied media clearly improves the taste and odor properties of the water, reducing chlorine and other organic compounds.
6. AV-MIN-L – an inline mineralizing cartridge. Osmotic filtration removes from 96 to 99% of all contaminants and minerals from water. The AV-MIN-L dolomite mineralizer replenishes minerals lost during the osmotic filtration process. As water flows through the mineralizer, it is enriched with elements essential for the human body, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium.

System components

Modern faucet

The modern-looking tap is equipped with two handles. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures comfort of use and reliability. Thanks to two separate knobs, it is possible to dispense either post-osmosis water or mineralized water. The faucet is easy to install and looks attractive with standard sinks and kitchen taps. This is a chrome-plated faucet by Aquafilter.

Water tank

Treated water is stored in a new-type 12-liter pressure tank. The working capacity is approximately 8 liters, so water is available on demand without having to wait for the full filtration process each time.

Operation and cartridge replacement

Proper system operation allows high filtration efficiency and good water quality to be maintained for a long time. The replacement schedule includes both pre-filter cartridges and final cartridges.
