Description

Ball valve, inline for flexible 1/4" tubing.

Equipped with a quick-connect system, used in reverse osmosis systems or with refrigerators that have an ice maker.

It is an excellent additional safeguard in installations based on 1/4 inch tubing, used in efficient filtration systems, and is equipped with connectors based on a quick-mount mechanism (quick connectors). Installing the valve on the tubing involves pushing the tubing firmly into the connector socket.

The valve has a wide range of applications in professional, home, and aquarium filtration systems. For example, a valve installed on the dirty water drain tubing to the sewage system in osmotic filters protects the filter from drying out even during very long breaks in operation (2-3 months). In aquarium filters, valves installed on the drain to the sewage system and for drawing clean water allow for safe disconnection of the filter without risking flooding the room.
