Information on the prohibition of disposing of WEEE together with other waste

Information on the prohibition of disposing of waste electrical and electronic equipment together with other waste:

In accordance with applicable legal regulations, waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of together with other waste, in particular municipal waste.

Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol must be handed over only to designated collection points.

Failure to comply with this prohibition may lead to serious consequences for the environment and human health, due to hazardous substances contained in waste electrical and electronic equipment, such as lead, mercury, cadmium, or bromine compounds. These substances may contaminate soil, water, and air, and may also pose a threat to society.

The WEEE collection system enables proper handling of waste equipment, i.e., its safe processing, recycling, and the neutralization of hazardous substances. By handing over your equipment to an appropriate collection point, you protect the environment and help ensure the safety of your community.

Remember – dispose of waste equipment only at designated collection points marked with the selective collection symbol!
