Information on the prohibition of disposing of WEEE with other waste

Information on the prohibition of disposing of waste electrical and electronic equipment with other waste:

In accordance with applicable law, waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of together with other waste, in particular municipal waste.

Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol should only be handed over to designated collection points.

Failure to comply with this prohibition may lead to serious consequences for the environment and human health due to the hazardous substances contained in waste electrical and electronic equipment, such as lead, mercury, cadmium or bromine compounds. These substances may contaminate soil, water and air, and may also pose a threat to society.

The collection system enables the proper handling of waste equipment, i.e. its safe processing, recycling and neutralisation of hazardous substances. By handing over equipment to an appropriate collection point, you protect the environment and care for the safety of your community.

Remember - return used equipment only to designated collection points marked with the selective collection symbol!
