Original cartridge set for semi-annual RO service

The set has been prepared with semi-annual servicing of the reverse osmosis system in mind. It includes three high-quality UST-M cartridges responsible for preliminary mechanical filtration and carbon block filtration. This setup helps limit the amount of contaminants reaching further elements of the system and supports maintaining good water quality.

How does this cartridge set work?

The set combines two mechanical filtration stages with a carbon cartridge. As a result, water passing through the water filter is cleaned of typical solid contaminants, while its usability properties, such as taste and smell, are improved.

1. Mechanical foam cartridge 5 microns FPS5 10"

The mechanical cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric is responsible for retaining larger mechanical contaminants insoluble in water. It removes, among other things, rust, suspended matter, sand, and silt down to 5 microns.

This is an important first stage of operation because it reduces the amount of solid contaminants before further filtration and helps protect the subsequent cartridges of the reverse osmosis system.

2. Carbon block BL10 10"

The carbon block cartridge is responsible for improving the taste and smell of the water and reducing selected contaminants. It removes mechanical contaminants larger than 10 microns, reduces chlorine and its toxic derivatives, eliminates lead and toxic heavy metals, and removes organic compounds, including bacteria.

This stage is key to improving everyday water-use comfort in the water filtration system.

3. Mechanical foam cartridge 1 micron PS1 10"

The last mechanical cartridge is made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric and retains larger mechanical contaminants insoluble in water, such as rust, suspended matter, sand, or silt down to 1 micron.

Thanks to more precise mechanical filtration, this cartridge provides important support for the further operation of the entire reverse osmosis system.
