The original Aqua Vita aquarium filter is equipped with a Pentair Water 75 GPD membrane and high-quality Aqua Vita BPA FREE cartridges. It is a complete set with the accessories necessary for connection, intended for the production of demineralized water.

The RO4 Aqua Vita model is used primarily in aquatics, where clean water has a direct impact on the stability of tank parameters. The system helps obtain soft water with low pH and an almost zero content of nitrogen compounds, which is particularly important in both marine and freshwater aquariums.

The water filtration system used here, based on reverse osmosis, is one of the most advanced purification methods. The reverse osmosis filter removes up to 99% of contaminants present in water, including mechanical impurities, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms.

The water obtained from this set can also be used for cosmetic purposes, laboratory applications, and steam irons. Thanks to the use of 10-inch osmotic housings and Aqua Vita cartridges, the set provides noticeably increased flow rates compared to inline filters. Filtration stages

1. AQUAVITA FCPS20 sediment filter

High-quality cartridge with a filtration accuracy of 20 microns. At the first stage, impurities present in tap water, such as sand, silt, and rust, with particle sizes up to 20 µm are removed.

Polypropylene nonwoven cartridges are distinguished by very good impurity absorption. Their structure resembles foam, on the surface of which there is a large number of open-cell microbubbles, which supports effective capture of solid particles.

The filter has PZH and TUV certification and is BPA FREE and PHALATE FREE.

2. AQUAVITA FCCBL10 sintered activated carbon filter

This stage is essential to protect the osmotic membrane from the harmful effects of chlorine and other substances that may reduce its service life and operating efficiency.

The cartridge removes 98% to 99% of free chlorine, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons from water, while also improving the taste and odor of the water. It also reduces up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides, polyaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, and organic substances.

The carbon block is characterized by lower dusting than granular carbon. The filter has PZH and TUV certification and is BPA FREE and PHALATE FREE.

3. AQUAVITA FCPS5 sediment filter

High-quality cartridge with a filtration accuracy of 5 microns. At this stage, further mechanical impurities such as sand, silt, and rust, with particle sizes up to 5 µm, are removed.

This filtration stage provides additional protection for the membrane and helps maintain the high efficiency of the entire system. The filter has PZH and TUV certification and is BPA FREE and PHALATE FREE.

4. PENTAIR TLC-75 osmotic membrane

The semi-permeable osmotic membrane consists of many layers wound onto a perforated core placed inside the membrane housing. Contaminated water is forced under pressure onto the membrane surface, where water molecules pass through microscopic pores.

Contaminants are separated and rejected to the drain, while purified water passes into the central core and flows out of the membrane under pressure. The membrane retains 96-99% of dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, heavy metals, and radioactive elements with a size of 0.01 micron.

The membrane capacity is 75 GPD (gallons per day), which means approximately 270 l per day while maintaining appropriate feed water parameters.

The RO4 Aqua Vita set is based on 10-inch osmotic housings, which translates into increased flow rates compared to inline solutions. This design works well wherever efficiency, easier servicing, and convenient access to consumable elements are important.
