In traditional housings, additional space below the filter is needed when unscrewing the sump. Here, servicing works differently: instead of unscrewing the sump downward from the head, the nut is unscrewed. This makes the housing easier to install and service where the amount of space above and below the installation is limited.

For cold water and everyday operation in the installation

The housing is intended for cold water filtration. The housing is designed to operate at pressure up to 6 bar, making it well suited as part of a household water installation and as a base for a selected filter cartridge.

The 3/4" brass threaded connections increase connection durability and make integration with the installation easier. This is a solution for users who expect a solid housing for regular operation and convenient servicing.

Drain valve and air vent - practical conveniences in use

A drain valve is installed at the bottom of the sump, allowing the cartridge inside the housing to be flushed under pressure from the water installation. This is a very useful function during routine system maintenance.

If a mesh or pleated cartridge is used in the housing, the contaminants trapped by it can be flushed under pressure into a placed container or discharged through a hose connected to the drain valve. This solution improves operation and makes it easier to remove accumulated sediment.

The housing is also equipped with an air vent valve. Its purpose is to release the air collected in the filter after cartridge replacement, which makes system restart easier and improves ease of use.

Housing construction

The housing structure consists of three elements that together form an easy-to-service filtration set:

• filter head, screwed onto the cold water pipe,

• nut (flange) for tightening the sump to the head.
