Thoughtful design for places with limited height

The FHPR12-3V_R model stands out with its three-element design, thanks to which it works well wherever a standard housing would be less convenient to use. In typical housings, the sump is unscrewed downward from the head, which requires leaving more free space under the filter. In this solution, the sump is tightened with a nut, so during service it does not need to be unscrewed downward in the same way as in classic housings.

This solution significantly simplifies installation and later filter servicing in cabinets, technical recesses, and other places where the total height required for operation is of key importance.

Drain valve and air vent - more convenient filter handling

A drain valve has been placed in the bottom of the sump, enabling the cartridge inside the housing to be rinsed under pressure from the water system. This practical solution improves ease of use and helps with ongoing maintenance of the filtration system.

If a mesh or pleated cartridge is used in the housing, the contaminants collected by it can be flushed out under pressure into a container placed underneath. They can also be discharged through a hose connected to the drain valve, allowing rinsing to be carried out in a more orderly manner.

The housing is also equipped with an air vent valve. Its purpose is to release air collected in the filter after cartridge replacement, making it easier to restart the system and ensuring stable housing operation after service.

For cold water and various filtration applications

The housing is intended for cold water filtration at an operating pressure of up to 6 bar. Thanks to the standard 10-inch size, it can work with a properly selected filter cartridge matched to the needs of a given installation and the type of contaminants.

In practice, such a housing can be part of a domestic water treatment system, preliminary installation protection, or a section preceding a more advanced system such as a reverse osmosis filter, osmotic filter, reverse osmosis unit, or a complete reverse osmosis system. Selecting the right cartridge for the intended application is crucial.

Three housing elements

The housing consists of three elements:

• filter head, screwed onto the cold water pipe
• filter sump, where the filter cartridge is placed
• nut (collar) for tightening the sump to the head

This design combines installation convenience with easier service access and stable positioning of the housing components.
