How filtration works in the RO7 FITaqua system

Filtration in the RO7 FITaqua system consists of three stages. Each of them performs a separate function, and together they create an effective home water filtration system.

1. Prefiltration

Prefiltration is responsible for removing larger mechanical and organic contaminants from the water. Its task is also to protect the membrane from wearing out too quickly, which is important for the durability of the entire setup and the stable operation of the system.

2. Osmotic membrane

The osmotic membrane effectively removes almost all contaminants. It is made of a film that allows only water molecules of approximately 0.1 nanometers in size to pass through. As a result, numerous contaminants are retained and removed with wastewater to the sewer drain, including chlorine, fluoride, industrial waste, batteries, fungi, heavy metals, lead, bromine, and many others.

3. Postfiltration

Postfiltration is the stage of further water treatment. It is responsible for giving the water a better taste, mineralizing it, and in premium filters also for improving the redox potential, which is responsible for reducing free radicals. In the RO7 FITaqua, this stage is highly important for the sensory perception of the water and its final performance characteristics.

The complete design of the set includes all the components needed for effective filtration, storage, and water dispensing:

• 3 prefilter cartridges: 2 foam sediment cartridges and an activated carbon block,
• osmotic membrane,
• 2" inline cartridge with activated carbon - new - quick-connect fittings - easy installation,
• 2" inline cartridge with mineralizing media - new - quick-connect fittings - easy installation,
• 2" bioceramic inline cartridge,
• 12 l tank (ensures filter performance and ongoing access to always fresh water),
• F3 double faucet made of stainless steel,
• complete set of connectors necessary to connect the filter - 1/2" and 3/8" inlets,
