The set has been prepared for a full annual service of the FITaqua RO6 reverse osmosis system. It includes five cartridges working at different stages of water treatment: from preliminary mechanical filtration, through carbon filtration, to final improvement of organoleptic properties and replenishment of selected minerals.

This solution makes it possible to refresh the device's operation without selecting components separately. In practice, this means more convenient use, maintaining proper filtration quality, and preserving good taste and odor of the water in everyday use.

How this cartridge set works

1. AC-PP-10-5 foam cartridge

The mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric removes larger, water-insoluble mechanical contaminants such as rust, suspended solids, sand, or silt. The filtration efficiency covers particles up to 5 microns in size.

This is the first stage that protects the further elements of the water filtration system from faster wear and excessive load caused by sediment present in the feed water.

2. AC-CTO-10 carbon block

The carbon block improves the taste and odor of the water and supports the removal of selected contaminants. The cartridge removes mechanical contaminants larger than 10 microns, reduces chlorine and its toxic derivatives, eliminates lead and toxic heavy metals, and also removes organic compounds, including bacteria.

This is an important element of every reverse osmosis filter, because it prepares the water for the next stages of system operation and affects the comfort of everyday use of filtered water.

3. AC-PP-10-1 foam cartridge

The mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric removes larger, water-insoluble mechanical contaminants such as rust, suspended solids, sand, silt and similar deposits. In the set description, removal of contaminants up to 5 microns in size is indicated.

This stage supports more precise preparation of the water for further filtration and helps maintain proper operation of the entire reverse osmosis system.

4. AC-IL-GAC inline carbon filter

The inline carbon cartridge is filled with activated carbon media. The filtration medium contained in it clearly improves the taste and odor of the water while reducing chlorine and other organic compounds.

This is the final carbon stage, which additionally increases drinking comfort and makes water treatment in a home system more noticeable not only in terms of purity, but also taste.

5. AC-IL-MIN inline mineralizer

The mineralizing cartridge works after osmotic filtration. The reverse osmosis process itself removes from 96 to 99% of all contaminants and minerals from the water. The AV-MIN-L dolomite mineralizer enriches the water with minerals lost during osmotic filtration.

Water flowing through the mineralizer is enriched with elements essential for the human body, such as:

• potassium
• sodium

As a result, the final effect is not only purified water, but also water with better utility properties and a more pleasant taste profile.
