How does the RO9 reverse osmosis system work?

This water filtration system has been designed to improve water quality using the reverse osmosis method, one of the most advanced purification methods. This type of osmotic filter removes 90-99.99% of all contaminants present in water: mechanical impurities, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms.

The device uses a top-quality 100 GPD osmotic membrane by FILMTEC USA, responsible for a very high level of contaminant separation and stable operation of the entire system. It is the key element responsible for obtaining very clean water for everyday drinking, cooking, and preparing beverages.

Double ionization and alkaline REDOX water

The double ionization system gives the water from the RO9 system the properties of a strong and natural antioxidant thanks to the large number of free electrons and counteracts the body's aging processes. The use of two ionization stages allows the water to maintain its beneficial parameters longer than solutions based on a single ionizing cartridge.

9 stages of water filtration

As water flows through this system, it undergoes 9 filtration stages. Each cartridge performs a specific function, making the entire system comprehensive and effective.

1. FCPS5-AB - a specialist polypropylene Aquafilter cartridge made using antibacterial BACinix technology. The cartridge can be used in place of the standard FCPS5 cartridge while fully maintaining its functionality. BACinix technology takes water filtration to a new level. In addition to classic mechanical filtration, the cartridge has antibacterial and bacteriostatic action against microorganisms present in water. BACinix technology uses silver nanoparticles, a natural bactericidal element.
2. FCBL10 - a carbon block cartridge that improves the taste and smell of water, removes mechanical impurities larger than 10 microns, chlorine and its toxic derivatives, lead, toxic heavy metals, and organic compounds, including bacteria.
3. FCPS1 - a mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, which removes larger, undissolved mechanical impurities from water, such as rust, suspended solids, sand, or silt, down to 1 micron.
4. FILMTEC 100 - an osmotic membrane from an American company meeting the highest NSF standards. It is a set of semi-permeable thin-film membranes. Combined with polypropylene nonwoven and activated carbon filters, it makes it possible to obtain truly clean and healthy water. The osmotic membrane removes up to 99% of all compounds dissolved in water, as well as bacteria and viruses.
5. AICRO-AB - an inline cartridge filled with NSF-certified activated carbon from coconut shells and polypropylene nonwoven containing nanosilver, which protects the cartridge against the development of harmful bacterial flora. The cartridge is designed to remove chlorine, volatile organic compounds VOC’s from water, and also to improve taste and smell. Water flowing through the cartridge has excellent quality, taste, and smell.
6. AV-GAC-L - an inline carbon cartridge filled with activated carbon media. The media contained in the cartridge significantly improve the taste and smell properties of water by reducing chlorine and other organic compounds.
7. AV-MIN-L - an inline mineralizing cartridge. Osmotic filtration removes from 96 to 99% of all contaminants and minerals from water. The AV-MIN-L dolomite mineralizer enriches water with minerals lost during the osmotic filtration process. As water flows through the mineralizer, it is enriched with elements essential for the human body, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium.
8. AV-REDOX-L - an ionizing cartridge (alkalizer). The cartridge saturates the water with hydrogen, thereby reducing its REDOX potential and raising the water pH. In practice, this means that the water becomes an effective antioxidant. As an antioxidant, hydrogen binds harmful free radicals in the body which, if left unpaired, degenerate the body. System components

Modern faucet

The modern-style faucet with two taps is made of high-quality materials, which translates into ease of use and reliability. Thanks to the two taps, it is possible to pour post-osmosis water or mineralized water. Very easy to install, it looks elegant alongside any standard faucets. The chrome-plated Aquafilter faucet is a refined element of the entire system.

Water tank

Treated water is stored in a 12-liter, new-type pressure tank, from which it is drawn on demand. The gross tank capacity is 12 liters, while the amount of stored water is approximately 8 liters of working capacity. This means the user always has a reserve of filtered water at hand.

Operation and cartridge replacement

The maintenance costs of the RO9 wodaRO GRAPHITE filter include periodic cartridge replacement according to the usage schedule:
