How does this water filtration system work?

The system is designed to improve water quality using the reverse osmosis method, one of the most advanced purification methods. Such reverse osmosis removes 90-99.99% of all contaminants present in water: mechanical impurities, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms. The system uses a high-class 100 GPD membrane from FILMTEC USA.

Ionized alkaline water – properties

Water from the RO7 system acquires the properties of a strong and natural antioxidant because it contains many free electrons and counteracts the body's aging processes.

7 stages of water filtration

As water flows through this system, it undergoes 7 stages of filtration. Each stage is responsible for a different range of purification or conditioning, which is why the entire water filtration system works comprehensively.

1. FCPS5-AB – a specialist Aquafilter polypropylene cartridge made with antibacterial BACinix technology. The cartridge can be used instead of the standard FCPS5 cartridge while fully maintaining its functionality. BACinix technology takes water filtration to a new level. In addition to classic mechanical filtration, the cartridge has antibacterial and bacteriostatic effects on microorganisms present in water. BACinix technology uses silver nanoparticles, a natural bactericidal element.
2. FCBL10 – a carbon block cartridge that improves the taste and smell of water. It removes mechanical impurities larger than 10 microns, removes chlorine and its toxic derivatives, eliminates lead and toxic heavy metals, and removes organic compounds, including bacteria.
3. FCPS1 – a mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric. It removes larger, undissolved mechanical impurities from water, such as rust, suspended solids, sand, or silt, down to 1 micron in size.
4. FILMTEC 100 – an osmotic membrane from an American company, meeting the highest NSF standards. It is a set of semi-permeable thin-film membranes. Combined with polypropylene nonwoven and activated carbon filters, it allows you to obtain truly clean and healthy water. The osmotic membrane removes up to 99% of all compounds dissolved in water, as well as bacteria and viruses.
5. AV-GAC-L – a linear carbon cartridge filled with activated carbon media. The media contained in the cartridge significantly improve the taste and odor qualities of water by reducing chlorine and other organic compounds.
6. AV-MIN-L – a linear mineralizer. Osmotic filtration removes 96 to 99% of all contaminants and minerals from water. The AV-MIN-L dolomite mineralizer enriches water with minerals lost during the osmotic filtration process. As water flows through the mineralizer, it is enriched with elements essential for the human body, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium.
7. BIOCERA – an ionizing cartridge. It saturates the water with hydrogen, thereby reducing its REDOX potential and raising the water pH. In practice, this means that the water becomes an effective antioxidant. As an antioxidant, hydrogen binds harmful free radicals in the body, which, if left unpaired, degenerate the body. Ionized water has many uses, including beneficial effects on digestive processes, supporting kidney function, regulating acid-base balance, removing toxins, and deacidifying the body.

System components

Modern spout

A faucet in a modern style with two taps. It is made of the highest quality materials, which guarantees comfort of use and reliability. Thanks to the two taps, it is possible to dispense post-osmosis or mineralized water. Very easy to install, it looks elegant next to any standard faucet. The chrome-plated faucet from Aquafilter is the best product in its category.

Water tank

Treated water is stored in a 12-liter pressure tank (new model), with a gross capacity of 12 l and a working capacity of approx. 8 l, from which it is dispensed on demand.

Operation and service

To maintain high purification efficiency and proper system operation, the cartridge replacement schedule should be followed.
