Hard water, resulting from the presence of calcium and magnesium ions, can dry out skin and hair, irritate the eyes, and cause characteristic deposits to form on surfaces and components that come into contact with water.

A drain valve is installed in the bottom of the filter housing, allowing the cartridge inside to be flushed under pressure from the water installation. When a mesh or pleated cartridge is used in the housing, the impurities collected by it are flushed out under pressure into a container placed underneath or through a hose connected to the drain valve.

This solution makes it easier to operate the pre-filter and helps effectively remove solid contaminants before the next part of the installation.

Aquafilter FCPNN50M mesh cartridge

This is an efficient sediment cartridge intended for cold water treatment. The nylon mesh captures sand-sized impurities and similar fractions, preventing them from entering the further part of the water installation.

The cartridge practically does not cause pressure drops because the resistance to water flow is minimal. In practice, this is a very convenient solution, allowing the cartridge to be automatically flushed without the need to unscrew it.
