Effective mechanical filtration with the PP20 string cartridge

The string cartridge, also called a nonwoven cartridge, is one of the most commonly used solutions in mechanical filtration. Its operation consists of trapping contaminants through a dense fiber weave, so the water flowing through the cartridge is cleaned of solid particles.

Double sealing system and air vent

The filter is equipped with two sealing O-rings that ensure maximum product tightness. The double sealing supports stable housing operation and reduces the risk of leaks during use.

The seal also helps maintain pressure inside the in-line housing, preventing air from entering the system. This is an important element affecting proper and predictable operation of the filtration system.

The housing also has an air vent. It allows the pressure inside the housing to be balanced with atmospheric pressure, eliminating the risk of damage to filtration or sealing elements. Thanks to the air vent, water filters and in-line housings can operate more efficiently regardless of operating conditions and pressure in the water installation, which translates into improved water quality and longer service life of devices.

Flexible configuration and easy installation

The filter can be installed individually or connected in series, allowing the water filtration system to be flexibly adapted to specific needs. This design makes it easier to expand the installation with additional water purification stages in the future.
