TFC-100F Aquafilter is an osmotic membrane for reverse osmosis systems. It retains most dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, including heavy metals, chemical compounds, and microorganisms, ensuring very precise filtration. It reduces the amount of salts and significantly lowers water hardness. Used for drinking water and in aquaristics. For longer lifespan, it requires proper pre-filters.
TFC-100F Aquafilter 100 GPD is an efficient osmosis membrane designed for installations such as a RO filter, reverse osmosis filter and a complete reverse osmosis system. It is responsible for the most precise stage of the process, in which the vast majority of dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants are removed from water, including heavy metals, chemical compounds, and microorganisms. The membrane supports effective water treatment for drinking and aquarium use, while also reducing salt content and significantly lowering water hardness.

Aquafilter TFC-100F has been designed to operate in reverse osmosis systems, where it plays a key role in the final, highly precise purification stage. The membrane is responsible for separating water molecules from a wide range of contaminants dissolved in water.
In practice, this means effective retention of 96% to 99.99% of organic and inorganic contaminants, bacteria, viruses, chemical compounds, and heavy metals, with a filtration precision of up to 0.001 µm. As a result, water passing through the membrane is purified very thoroughly and can be used both for everyday drinking and in aquariums.
The membrane cartridge consists of multiple layers wound around a perforated core located inside the membrane. This design increases the filtration surface area while maintaining the high purification precision characteristic of reverse osmosis technology.
Contaminated water is forced under pressure onto the membrane surface. Water molecules pass through microscopic pores, while contaminants are separated and rejected to the drain. The purified water then passes through openings into the central core and, under pressure, flows out of the membrane as filtered water.
Thanks to this process, the membrane not only improves water quality, but also removes dissolved salt compounds, which translates into a reduction in hardness by more than 90%.
The TFC-100F Aquafilter membrane is used wherever very thoroughly purified water is required. It is a good choice for household water filtration systems intended for preparing drinking water, as well as for aquarium applications, where high water quality is particularly important.
To maintain high operating efficiency and a longer membrane service life, it is very important to protect it properly with pre-filters. Proper pre-filtration helps reduce the load on the membrane and can extend its service life to as much as several years.
When replacing the membrane, the flow restrictor installed on the tubing that discharges contaminated water to the sewer should also be replaced.
Under standard operating conditions, service life may be as much as several years, but it depends on inlet water quality and operating conditions. The durability of the cartridge may be affected by, among other things, excessive contamination of well water or a water supply network failure.

This membrane is designed for reverse osmosis filters and systems. It works well as a component in installations where the membrane is responsible for the most precise stage of water purification.
The membrane retains 96% to 99.99% of dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants in water, as well as bacteria, viruses, chemical compounds, and heavy metals.
Yes. It removes dissolved salt compounds, thereby reducing water hardness by more than 90%.
Yes. The membrane makes it possible to obtain very thoroughly purified water suitable for drinking, which is why it is used in household reverse osmosis systems.
Yes. The product is also suitable for aquarium applications where water with a high degree of purification is required.
Contaminated water is forced under pressure onto the membrane surface. Water molecules pass through microscopic pores, and contaminants are separated and directed to the drain. The purified water enters the central core and flows out of the membrane.
When replacing the membrane, the flow restrictor installed on the tubing that discharges contaminated water to the sewer should also be replaced.
Service life depends on inlet water quality, proper pre-filtration, and operating conditions. With standard use and appropriate protection by pre-filters, the membrane can operate for as long as several years.
Pre-filters protect the membrane from excessive contaminant load. Their proper use helps maintain filtration efficiency and extend membrane service life.
