Description

The condensate neutralizer for FIT aqua condensing boilers and furnaces is a practical solution for safely reducing the acidity of condensate before it is discharged into the sewage system. The device changes acidic condensate with a pH of 1.5-5 to a neutral reaction above pH 7, helping to reduce the risk of deterioration of the drainage system. The model operates by gravity flow, handles a maximum flow rate of 3 l/h, and is designed for condensing boilers with an output of up to 35 kW. The set includes 3/4" connections and a 20 mm hose connection, as well as mounting brackets. This is a specialist installation component that complements modern technical building systems, just as a water filter, water treatment, or a water filtration system supports the protection of home installations.

Application and key benefits

The condensate neutralizer has been designed for use with condensing boilers, in which acidic condensate is produced during operation. Direct discharge into the sewage system can, over time, negatively affect the components of the installation. Using a neutralizer makes it possible to change the condensate reaction from acidic to neutral, increasing the safety of the entire condensate drainage system.

This solution is particularly useful where simple installation, compact dimensions, and operation without additional power supply matter. Thanks to gravity flow, the neutralizer works in a straightforward way and fits well into the practical requirements of domestic and small heating systems.

How the condensate neutralizer works

The device is used to neutralize condensate from condensing boilers. Acidic condensate with a pH of 1.5-5 passes through the neutralizer and is brought to a neutral reaction above pH 7. This solution helps prevent damage to sewage pipes and reduces the risk of degradation of components that come into contact with the condensate.

The design is adapted for operation in a gravity-flow system, which simplifies installation and everyday use. The neutralizer is compatible with condensing boilers with a maximum output of 35 kW.

Installation and use

The model is equipped with connections that allow it to be installed via 3/4" threads or a 20 mm hose. This makes it easy to adapt to typical solutions used for condensate drainage from condensing boilers.

The neutralizer operates by gravity flow. Before installation, make sure that the pipe routing and drainage method allow condensate to flow freely. The service life of the consumable insert is 6 months, so to maintain neutralization efficiency, regular replacement should be taken into account according to the operating period.
