The WodaRO sediment cartridge has been designed for precise mechanical filtration. Its purpose is to retain solid contaminants present in water before it reaches further treatment stages or end devices.

It is a practical solution wherever protecting fittings, the water system, heating devices, and household appliances from deposits and particles that may cause accelerated wear of working components is important.

Cartridge construction and operating principle

The cartridge is made of pure polypropylene fiber wound around a filter core. This design is not accidental — it ensures an increase in filter density toward its core, which improves performance and makes better use of the entire filtration structure.

The density gradient means that larger contaminants are retained in the outer layer of the cartridge, while finer particles are captured deeper inside the filtration material. As a result, the filter operates more efficiently, and its service life may be longer than that of simpler solutions with a uniform structure.

Operation and replacement
