PP20 WodaRO is a 10" string wound sediment filter for pre-filtration of cold and hot water. Made of pure polypropylene wound around a core, with a density gradient for more effective contaminant retention. It removes sand, silt, and rust, protecting the installation and devices. Filtration accuracy: 20 microns.
PP20 WodaRO string filter 20 micron is a universal 10" filter cartridge for the pre-filtration of cold and hot water. It works well as a water filter in standard 10-inch inline housings, as well as in under-sink installations such as an osmotic filter, reverse osmosis filter, or other solutions supporting water treatment. Thanks to its construction made of pure polypropylene with a density gradient, it effectively captures mechanical impurities such as sand, silt, and rust, helping protect the installation and household appliances.

The WodaRO sediment cartridge has been designed for precise mechanical filtration. Its purpose is to retain solid contaminants present in water before it reaches further treatment stages or end devices.
It is a practical solution wherever protecting fittings, the water system, heating devices, and household appliances from deposits and particles that may cause accelerated wear of working components is important.
The cartridge is made of pure polypropylene fiber wound around a filter core. This design is not accidental — it ensures an increase in filter density toward its core, which improves performance and makes better use of the entire filtration structure.
The density gradient means that larger contaminants are retained in the outer layer of the cartridge, while finer particles are captured deeper inside the filtration material. As a result, the filter operates more efficiently, and its service life may be longer than that of simpler solutions with a uniform structure.
The PP20 model is intended for installation in standard 10-inch inline filters as well as in under-sink and osmotic systems.
The cartridge can operate with both cold and hot water, within the temperature range specified in the technical specification.
A filtration accuracy of 20 microns effectively helps reduce the presence of typical mechanical contaminants found in tap and utility water.
Removing this type of sediment is particularly important as the first stage of protection for subsequent cartridges and installation components. In practice, this means better operating conditions for household appliances, fittings, heaters, and water treatment systems.
The cartridge is a consumable component and should be replaced regularly to maintain effective filtration and proper water flow. The expected service life is up to 6 months or up to 14,000 liters of filtered water.
Actual durability depends on the degree of contamination in the feed water. The more mechanical sediment present in the incoming water, the sooner the cartridge may require replacement.
It is worth replacing the cartridge earlier if a noticeable drop in flow rate or a higher load of mechanical contaminants is observed. Selecting the right service interval is especially important in installations where an osmotic filter or reverse osmosis system is used, because efficient pre-filtration helps protect the subsequent treatment stages.
The service life of the cartridge depends on the degree of contamination in the feed water.

It is a sediment cartridge designed for water pre-filtration. Its task is to remove mechanical impurities such as sand, silt, and rust in order to protect the installation and devices operating further in the system.
Yes. The cartridge is 10" high and is intended for standard 10-inch inline filter housings, as well as for many under-sink filters and osmotic systems using this format.
The PP20 model provides a filtration accuracy of 20 microns, effectively retaining typical mechanical contaminants present in water.
The cartridge is made of pure polypropylene fiber wound around a filter core. This construction provides suitable rigidity, durability, and effective gradient filtration.
The density gradient means that the outer layer retains larger particles, while the inner layers capture finer contaminants. This solution increases filtration efficiency and helps extend cartridge life.
The recommended service life is up to 6 months or up to 14,000 liters. In practice, the replacement frequency depends on the quality and degree of contamination of the feed water as well as the intensity of use.
Yes. The cartridge can operate with cold and hot water in the temperature range from 1°C to 52°C.
Yes. It can be used as a pre-filtration stage in installations such as a reverse osmosis system, reverse osmosis unit, or reverse osmosis filter, where it helps reduce the inflow of mechanical contaminants to subsequent system components.
No. One of its advantages is minimal pressure drop at high flow rates. The pressure drop parameter is within the range of 0.2 - 0.4 bar.
Yes. The cartridge has a hygienic certificate and PZH hygiene approvals. It is also made of materials approved by NSF and FDA.
