How PP20 string cartridge mechanical filtration works

A string cartridge, also known as a nonwoven cartridge, is one of the most commonly used solutions in mechanical water filtration. Its operation is based on trapping contaminants through the dense weave of string fibers through which the water flows.

The two-piece 10" inline housing from WodaRO provides reliable protection for the water installation. The design has been created for operation in domestic cold-water systems.

The housing consists of a transparent sump and a head with a 3/4" brass thread. This solution combines a durable connection with the convenience of visually checking cartridge wear without the need to immediately disassemble the housing.

Double sealing system
