Aqua Vita RO4 reverse osmosis system for preparing demineralized water for marine and freshwater aquaristics. 4 stages of filtration (sediment, carbon block, demineralizing resin MB400, Supreme 100 GPD membrane) and a dual TDS meter for constant water quality monitoring (in/out). The package also includes spare cartridges, mounting accessories, and a 1/4 inch hose.
AQUARIUM WATER FILTER RO4 DEMI TDS METER +SPARE is a complete reverse osmosis filter for preparing demineralized water for marine and freshwater aquariums. This reverse osmosis system combines a 4-stage water filtration system, an efficient Supreme 100 GPD osmotic membrane, a demineralizing cartridge with MB400 resin, a dual in/out TDS meter, and a spare set of consumable cartridges. The set works wherever soft water with low pH and an almost zero content of nitrogen compounds is needed, and thanks to 10-inch housings and connections routed to the front panel, it provides convenient operation and increased efficiency.

Aqua Vita RO4 DEMI is an advanced water filter designed for water treatment for marine and freshwater aquarium use. It has been designed to produce fully demineralized water, so it is well suited to aquarists who expect stable output water quality and constant control of parameters.
The set stands out for its high build quality and increased performance. The use of 10-inch osmosis housings and Aquafilter cartridges allows significantly higher flow rates than in typical inline filters. An additional advantage is that all connections are routed to the front panel, which makes installation, servicing, and everyday use easier.
The system was developed primarily with aquaristics in mind. It allows you to obtain clean water for marine and freshwater aquariums, supporting the preparation of soft water with low pH and an almost zero content of nitrogen compounds.
The water obtained from this set can also be used for other applications where highly purified and demineralized water is desired, including cosmetic, laboratory, and steam iron use.

This osmosis filter operates in multiple stages, so each stage is responsible for removing a specific group of contaminants and preparing the water for the next purification stage.
The sediment cartridge with a 5-micron filtration rating is responsible for the mechanical removal of contaminants present in tap water. At this stage, sand, silt, and rust particles up to 5 µm in size are removed, among others.
The polypropylene nonwoven cartridge is characterized by very good contaminant absorption. Its structure resembles foam, with a large number of open-cell microbubbles on the surface, which promotes effective capture of solid particles.

The second stage is necessary to protect the osmotic membrane. The carbon block removes 98% to 99% of free chlorine, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons from the water, while also improving the taste and odor of the water.
The cartridge also reduces up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides, polyaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, and other organic substances. Compared with granular carbon, the carbon block produces less dust.
The demineralizing cartridge with MB400 resin is a ready-to-use, homogeneous mixture of Purolite anion and cation exchange resin designed for water demineralization and removal of residual contaminants.
MB400 resin is used in domestic and industrial systems for polishing osmotic water. The resin canister is openable, allowing it to be refilled. The cartridge fits 10-inch housings.

The semipermeable osmotic membrane consists of multiple layers wound around a perforated core located inside the membrane. Feed water is forced under pressure onto the membrane surface, where water molecules pass through microscopic pores.
Contaminants are separated and discharged to the drain, while purified water enters the central core and flows out of the membrane under pressure. The membrane retains 96-99% of dissolved organic and inorganic contaminants, heavy metals, and radioactive elements down to 0.01 microns.
Capacity: 100 GPD (Gallons Per Day) / 380 l per day with appropriate feed water parameters.

The set includes the TDS81 – dual TDS salinity meter, a water and membrane tester designed to measure the total amount of dissolved solids in water. It is a practical tool for ongoing quality control of water at the inlet and outlet of the RO system.
The device operates in the 0-9999 reading range. For results above 999 ppm, the [x10] symbol appears on the display. The meter installed on RO filters enables constant observation of water contamination values in the range of 0 to 9990 ppm.
The set includes not only a ready-to-use reverse osmosis system, but also a spare set of consumable cartridges. It is a convenient solution for people who want to prepare immediately for further operation of the device and maintain continuity of the water filtration system.

Thanks to the complete set of connectors and the 5-meter hose, the system can be conveniently connected to the water installation and drain. The thoughtful design with connections routed to the front panel makes device operation and servicing easier.
The performance of the 100 GPD / 380 l per day membrane depends on maintaining the appropriate feed water parameters. Regular monitoring of TDS readings helps assess the condition of the membrane and the effectiveness of demineralization, while spare cartridges make it easier to maintain high-quality water treatment for a longer time.
