Description
Active media cartridge for iron removal from water. Effectively retains dissolved iron compounds in water. Used to protect household appliances (washing machines, dishwashers) and heating devices.
The iron removal cartridge contains a special fine-grained granulate with a high capacity for capturing iron ions. The cartridge is designed to effectively improve the taste and smell of water by removing its specific metallic aftertaste. The cartridge has its own end filter, preventing granulate particles from escaping outside the filter.
The composition of the media inside the cartridge housing adjusts the water's pH to enhance the iron removal process. The cartridge fits standard 10-inch housings and can be used in inline, under-sink, and standing filters. The water flow is suitable for a single point of extraction (e.g., before the kitchen faucet).
Advantages of the cartridge:
- characterized by exceptional ability to capture iron ions
- contains technologically treated ion-exchange granulate with grain sizes from 0.2 to 0.7 mm
- used for both cold and hot domestic water

- water flowing through the cartridge penetrates the entire ion-exchange granulate ensuring its maximum effectiveness
- the cartridge effectively eliminates metallic taste and smell from water
- features a polypropylene filter insert that additionally protects the cartridge
To extend the cartridge's lifespan, a housing with a mechanical filter from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the carbon cartridge.
