Description
Specialized water treatment cartridge - softening and iron-removing, designed for 10-inch standard housings.
It is filled with a special fine-grained medium that can be used for treating drinking and utility water. As water flows through the active medium, there is a reduction in total hardness, iron, and hydrogen sulfide.
The FCCST2 softening cartridge can be used for treating drinking water (the product has a PZH certification). Softening water with a ion-exchange resin cartridge is the cheapest and easiest solution to protect kettles, coffee machines, etc. from the buildup of white deposits.
Hard water is a direct cause of limescale buildup in the plumbing system, on fixtures (faucets, screens, etc.), and in household appliances that come into contact with water (kettles, coffee machines, washing machines, dishwashers, etc.). Water with a high calcium content leads to increased detergent consumption and complicates washing and rinsing.
Iron-rich water results in the formation of rusty streaks, stains, etc.
Hydrogen sulfide present in water causes its unacceptable odor (characteristic, similar to rotten eggs), which intensifies in hot water. Softening and iron removal from water using the Aquafilter cartridge is an effective method for small water flows.
To ensure proper operating parameters for the FCCST2 cartridge, it is necessary to take care of preliminary filtration of water from sand and silt (e.g., using foam cartridges from the FCPS series).
