4-stage under-sink system for clean and great-tasting water

FP3-HJ-K1 is an under-sink filtration system with a TLCHF-2T capillary membrane and a separate FXFCH5 faucet. It has been designed to provide constant access to water intended for drinking and everyday kitchen use.

The system includes: an FCPS5 mechanical cartridge, an FCCST2 softening and iron-removal cartridge, an FCCBKDF carbon cartridge, and a TLCHF-2T capillary membrane. This configuration effectively improves water parameters and everyday convenience of use.

The purification process eliminates 99.8% of harmful substances and microorganisms from water without removing minerals essential for the human body. The capillary membrane filters 100% of the incoming water, which means filtration without wastewater.

How filtration works in the FP3-HJ-K1 model

Water flowing through this system undergoes 4 stages of filtration. Each stage is responsible for a different type of treatment, and together they form a comprehensive water purification system for the kitchen.

1. FCPS5 Aquafilter

• It is a sediment (mechanical) cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, shaped so that the filter density increases toward the core.
• It retains all kinds of mechanical impurities such as sand, silt, rust, etc., with particle sizes up to 5 microns.
• Polypropylene foam cartridges belong to the latest generation of filter cartridges.
• They are characterized by extremely high impurity absorption, as the nonwoven fabric has a foam-like consistency containing open-cell microbubbles inside it, making the contact surface between water and the filtration media equivalent to the size of a football field (for standard 10-inch cartridges).

2. FCCST2 Aquafilter

• A specialist water treatment cartridge – softening and iron-removal.
• It is filled with a special fine-grained media that can be used for treatment of drinking and utility water.
• As water flows through the active media, total hardness, iron and hydrogen sulfide are reduced.
• Used for treatment of drinking water.
• Water softening with an ion-exchange granulate cartridge is the cheapest and easiest-to-use solution for protecting a kettle, coffee machine, etc. against white limescale deposits.

3. FCCBKDF Aquafilter

• A carbon cartridge filled with activated carbon from coconut shells and KDF media.
• Activated carbon from coconut shells removes chlorine and chlorinated solvents from water.
• It removes organic contaminants and some pesticides.
• It removes aromatic hydrocarbons and polyaromatic compounds, thereby improving the taste and odor of water.
• It removes phenol and benzene.
• It removes iron compounds and hydrogen sulfide.
• It removes heavy metals: arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.
• KDF media prevents the growth of bacterial flora on the filtration media, lowers the concentration of heavy metals contained in water (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury) and iron, and removes hydrogen sulfide and pesticides.
• It has a final filter that prevents the media from escaping outside the cartridge.

4. TLCHF-2T capillary membrane

• It is made of polypropylene fibers (capillaries).
• Channels are hollowed out in the capillary walls, with diameters decreasing from the outside toward the center of the fiber. Larger impurity particles are retained on the outer surface of the capillary (surface filtration), while smaller ones flow deeper into the channels until they encounter smaller pores (depth filtration).
• Capillary filtration is an alternative to osmotic filtration.
• The purification process eliminates 99.8% of harmful substances and microorganisms from water without removing minerals essential for the human body.
• The capillary membrane filters 100% of the incoming water (filtration without wastewater).
• TLCHF-2T is intended for cold drinking water treatment.

Separate faucet for filtered water

FXFCH5 faucet is included in the set and ensures convenient dispensing of filtered water. It is a high-quality component with an attractive appearance that provides a good leak-free fit, is easy to install, and looks elegant alongside all standard spouts.
