4-stage under-sink filtration system with capillary membrane TLCHF-2T. The system includes the FCPS5 cartridge, which removes mechanical impurities from water such as: sand, silt, suspended solids, not smaller than 5 µm, FCCST2 which reduces iron concentration and hardness of water, and the carbon cartridge FCCBKDF, which removes chlorine, pesticides, organic substances, reduces heavy metal concentration, improves taste and smell of water, and also exhibits bacteriostatic properties.

The purification process allows for 99.8% elimination of harmful substances and microorganisms from water, without removing essential minerals for the human body. The capillary membrane filters 100% of the incoming water (filtration without waste).

Water flowing through this system undergoes 4 stages of filtration:

1. FCPS5 Aquafilter 

• It is a sediment (mechanical) cartridge made of polypropylene non-woven fabric, shaped so that the density of the filter increases towards the core.
• It retains all kinds of mechanical impurities such as sand, silt, rust, etc., with grain sizes up to 5 microns.
• Polypropylene foam cartridges belong to the latest generation of filtration cartridges.
• They are characterized by enormous absorption of impurities, as the non-woven fabric has the consistency of foam containing open-cell micro-bubbles, causing the contact surface of water with the filtering mass to be the size of a football field (for standard 10-inch cartridges).

2. FCCST2 Aquafilter 

• Specialized water treatment cartridge - softening and de-ironing.
• It is filled with a special fine-grained medium that can be used for treating drinking and utility water.
• As water flows through the active medium, there is a reduction in total hardness, iron, and hydrogen sulfide.
• Used for treating drinking water (product with PZH certification).
• Water softening on a cartridge with ion-exchange granules is the cheapest and simplest solution to protect kettles, coffee machines, etc., from white scale buildup.

3. FCCBKDF Aquafilter 

• Carbon cartridge, filled with activated carbon from coconut shells and KDF medium.
• Activated carbon from coconut shells removes chlorine, chlorinated solvents from water
• Removes organic impurities and some pesticides.
• Removes aromatic hydrocarbons and polycyclic aromatic compounds, thereby improving the taste and smell of water.
• Removes phenol and benzene.
• Removes iron compounds and hydrogen sulfide
• Removes heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury)
• KDF medium prevents the growth of bacterial flora on the filtering medium, reduces the concentration of heavy metals contained in water (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury) and iron, removes hydrogen sulfide and pesticides.
• It has a final filter that prevents the medium from escaping outside the cartridge.

4. CAPILLARY MEMBRANE TLCHF-2T

• It is made of polypropylene fibers (capillaries).
• The walls of the capillary are hollowed out with channels, whose diameter decreases from the outside to the center of the fiber. Larger particles of impurities are retained on the outer surface of the capillary (surface filtration), while smaller ones flow into the channels until they encounter smaller pores (depth filtration).
• Capillary filtration is an alternative to osmotic filtration. The purification process allows for 99.8% elimination of harmful substances and microorganisms from water, without removing essential minerals for the human body.
• The capillary membrane filters 100% of the incoming water (filtration without waste). TLCHF-2T is designed for treating cold drinking water.
