TLCHF-FP Aquafilter is a capillary membrane for under-sink systems. It stops mechanical impurities (rust, sand, silt, suspensions) and particles down to 0.02 µm, including some bacteria and viruses. Filtration occurs without water rejection and without removing natural minerals. Do not use for microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.
TLCHF-FP – Capillary membrane by Aquafilter. It is designed for under-sink systems.
It removes contaminants such as: sand, silt, rust, and other mechanical impurities found in tap water with particle sizes up to 0.02 µm (including some bacteria and viruses).
The capillary membrane is made of fibers (capillaries). The walls of the capillary are hollowed out with channels, whose diameter decreases from the outside to the center of the fiber. Larger particles of contaminants are retained on the outer surface of the capillary (surface filtration), while smaller ones flow into the channels until they encounter smaller pores (deep filtration).
Capillary filtration is an alternative to osmotic filtration. The filtration process allows for 99.8% elimination of harmful substances and microorganisms from water, without removing essential minerals for the human body.
The capillary membrane filters 100% of the incoming water (filtration without rejection). The capillary membrane should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.
