Description
The TLCHF-2T capillary membrane is made of polypropylene fibers (capillaries).
The walls of the capillary are hollowed out with channels, the diameter of which decreases from the outside to the center of the fiber. Larger particles of contaminants are retained on the outer surface of the capillary (surface filtration), while smaller ones flow into the channels until they encounter smaller pores (depth filtration).
Capillary filtration is an alternative to osmotic filtration. The purification process allows for the elimination of harmful substances and microorganisms from water by 99.8%, without removing essential minerals for the human body. The capillary membrane filters 100% of the incoming water (filtration without rejection).
TLCHF-2T is designed for treating cold drinking water.
