Aquafilter FCCBL20BB is made of sintered activated carbon. This design effectively reduces the presence of contaminants responsible for deteriorating the taste, odor, and overall quality of water. How the Aquafilter FCCBL20BB cartridge works

The cartridge removes 98% to 99% of free chlorine from water, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons, significantly improving the taste and odor of water.

At the same time, the cartridge reduces up to 85% of chlorinated pesticides, polyaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, and organic substances. This makes it a good choice wherever an effective filter cartridge is needed to support the daily treatment of cold water.

Why sintered activated carbon is effective

Sintered carbon is characterized by a much larger specific surface area and a greater number of active sites. Compared to other carbon cartridges, this means about 25% greater service performance. To extend the service life of the carbon cartridge, a housing with an FCPS or FCPP series sediment cartridge should be installed before the housing with the FCCBL20BB cartridge. Preliminary mechanical filtration helps retain solid contaminants that could accelerate wear of the carbon medium.
