The HHBB20A Aquafilter model is a water treatment station built into a steel frame. This design creates a basic yet professional foundation for building a household filtration setup in the BIG BLUE 20 standard.

The set is based on Big Blue 20 housings, which allows suitable filtration and treatment cartridges to be selected according to water parameters and the installation to be gradually expanded in line with household needs.

The frame allows the unit to be freely placed on the floor, without the need to mount it to a wall or other vertical surface. This is a convenient solution for installation in a boiler room, utility room, garage, or at the main water connection.

Operation monitoring thanks to pressure gauges

The set includes two pressure gauges that allow pressure values to be read. This is a very practical feature because it helps monitor pressure drop in the system and makes it easier to determine when the cartridges should be replaced.

The housing has a 1-inch thread, allowing the set to operate in installations requiring adequate flow capacity and a solid connection.

FCPS20M20B – 20-micron mechanical cartridge

FCPS20M20B is a 20-micron mechanical cartridge designed for 20'' BIG BLUE housings. It is characterized by very good contaminant absorption capacity. Its structure resembles foam, with a very large number of open-cell microbubbles on the surface.

The cartridge effectively removes sand, silt, rust, and other mechanical impurities from tap water. As a result, it helps protect household water installations and home appliances against deposits and premature wear.

The polypropylene nonwoven fabric used in this cartridge is resistant to chemicals and also to the growth of microorganisms. The cartridge is intended for the treatment of cold drinking water or general utility water. It should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.

FCCBL20BB-S – carbon block cartridge made of coconut shell carbon

FCCBL20BB-S is a professional carbon cartridge made of specially sintered high-density activated carbon from coconut shells. This design ensures a high adsorption capacity for chlorine and other organic contaminants present in water.

Activated carbon effectively eliminates organic water contaminants. In installations supplied with tap water, it radically reduces chlorine levels. In applications related to well water treatment, it improves oxidizability and clarifies the water, while also clearly reducing organic contamination.

The sintered carbon block form is less prone to dusting than granular carbon, which is why this solution performs well in main water installations. Carbon from coconut shells stands out for its very large active surface area and high effectiveness in reducing chlorine, organic contaminants, and improving the utility parameters of water.

The set includes 2 antibacterial centering discs. These elements were made using BACinix™ antibacterial technology based on nanosilver.
