Professional construction from an excellent European water filter manufacturer, Aquafilter Europe LTD. The three-stage filter built into the frame is based on BIG BLUE 20 standard columns, allowing for the selection of appropriate filter and treatment cartridge sets for specific water parameters.

The frame in which the set of housings is installed allows for easy placement of the device on the floor, without the need for mounting to a wall or other flat, vertical surface.

The pressure gauges included in the set allow for reading pressure values (a useful feature that facilitates determining when it is necessary to replace the cartridges).

The housing has a 1-inch thread.

The set includes 3 filter cartridges:

Stage I - FCPS20M20B - a 20-micron mechanical cartridge designed for 20' BIG BLUE housings, characterized by excellent dirt absorption. The construction of the cartridge resembles the consistency of foam, on the surface of which there is a very large number of open-cell micro-bubbles. It effectively removes sand, silt, rust, and other mechanical impurities found in tap water. It effectively contributes to the protection of domestic water systems and household appliances. The polypropylene fabric from which the cartridge is made is resistant to chemicals and the growth of microorganisms. The cartridge is intended for treating cold drinking water or general use water. The cartridge should not be used for water contaminated microbiologically or of unknown origin.

Stage II - FCCFE20BB cartridge with active media for iron removal from water.

Effectively retains dissolved iron compounds in water. Used to protect household appliances (washing machines, dishwashers) and heating devices. The iron removal cartridge contains a special fine-grained granulate with a high capacity for capturing iron ions. The cartridge is designed to effectively improve the taste and smell of water by removing its specific metallic aftertaste.

The cartridge has its own end filter, preventing granulate particles from escaping outside the filter. The composition of the media inside the cartridge housing corrects the water's pH to facilitate the iron removal process.

Stage III - FCCBL20BB-S - a professional carbon cartridge made from specially sintered activated carbon from coconut shells with high density, possessing a large capacity for adsorbing chlorine and other organic impurities contained in water.

Activated carbon effectively eliminates organic impurities in water. Installed on tap water systems, it radically reduces chlorine levels. In treating water from a private well, it improves oxidizability and clarifies the water. It decisively removes organic contaminants.

The form of the cartridge as a sintered carbon block is less prone to dusting than carbon granulate, which is why it is recommended for main water installations.

The modern cartridge made from coconut shell charcoal has the largest active surface area and is the most effective solution for reducing chlorine and organic contaminants as well as improving water oxidizability.
