FCCFE20BB Aquafilter is a de-ironing cartridge for Big Blue 20 housings, designed to improve the quality of utility water. The active medium effectively captures dissolved iron compounds, reducing metallic taste and odor. It helps prevent rusty stains and yellow spots on laundry, protecting washing machines, dishwashers, and heating systems. The cartridge has a final filter that retains granule particles.

Active media cartridge for iron removal from water. Effectively captures dissolved iron compounds in water. Used to protect household appliances (washing machines, dishwashers) and heating devices.
The iron removal cartridge contains a special fine-grained granulate with a high capacity for capturing iron ions. The cartridge is designed to effectively improve the taste and smell of water by removing its specific metallic aftertaste. The cartridge has its own end filter, preventing granulate particles from escaping outside the filter.
The composition of the media inside the cartridge housing adjusts the water's pH to enhance the iron removal process.

To extend the cartridge's lifespan, a housing with a mechanical filter from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the carbon cartridge.
