The KLARWOD PS1 model is designed to work in 10" inline filter housings. Its foam structure effectively captures mechanical contaminants present in water, such as sand, rust, and various types of sediment.

Filtration precision at the 1 µm level helps limit the passage of particles that can accelerate wear of fixtures and installation components. As a result, the cartridge works well both as a standalone filter cartridge for pre-filtration and as part of a larger water filtration system, preceding more precise solutions such as a reverse osmosis filter, osmosis filter, reverse osmosis system, or reverse osmosis.
