Effective mechanical water filtration

S-PP5 Supreme has been designed for the treatment of cold drinking water and general-purpose water. Its task is to retain mechanical impurities present in tap water, especially particles larger than 5 microns.

In practice, this means effective capture of impurities such as:

• sand,
• silt,
• rust,
• suspended solids,
• other mechanical impurities with particle sizes greater than 5 microns.

As a result, the cartridge helps maintain higher water cleanliness in everyday use and is an important part of a home water filtration system.

Protection of the system and appliances

The S-PP5 Supreme cartridge not only filters water, but also effectively supports the protection of household water systems and home appliances. Reducing the amount of solid particles in water can lower the risk of contaminants building up in system components and in parts of water-fed appliances.

It is a practical solution wherever a simple and effective preliminary mechanical filtration stage is needed. This type of filter cartridge can be used as part of a larger system, for example as a pre-filter for water before further treatment or as part of sets such as a reverse osmosis filter, RO filter, or reverse osmosis system, where protecting the subsequent filtration stages is particularly important.

Melt-blown technology and pure polypropylene

The S-PP5 Supreme model was made using melt-blown technology, from 100% pure polypropylene, without any additives. This design translates into stable cartridge performance and effective retention of mechanical impurities.

The filter is made of pure polypropylene free from surfactants. A properly formed filtration structure ensures low pressure drop while maintaining very good dirt-holding capacity.

The single-stage production process involves continuous extrusion and thermal bonding of pure polypropylene microfibers into a complex filtration matrix. This structure is responsible for effective mechanical filtration and convenient everyday use.

Material resistance and safe use

The polypropylene nonwoven fabric used to make the cartridge is resistant to chemicals as well as bacterial growth. This is an important feature in cold water filtration applications, where the durability of the filter material and the stability of its properties matter.

An additional advantage of the product is the PZH approval, which confirms that the cartridge can be used in solutions related to water treatment intended for household contact.
