4 stages of water filtration

The water flowing through this system undergoes four full purification stages. Each one is responsible for a different range of filtration, which makes the entire water filtration system comprehensive and effective.

1. K5 – replaceable filter cartridge made of 100% polypropylene. It serves as a pre-filter and traps mechanical impurities such as sand and rust. It protects the subsequent filtration stages. Used in filters with a separate spout. Removes contaminants down to 5 microns.
2. K2 – replaceable filter cartridge made using carbon block technology with Aqualen fiber and activated coconut shell carbon. It effectively removes organic compounds and active chlorine from water. Removes contaminants down to 3 microns. The ion-exchange Aqualen fiber together with modified selective chelating compounds deeply and effectively removes heavy metals from water. It contains safe silver in an active ionic form.
3. RO-50S – osmotic membrane used in RO series reverse osmosis systems. It purifies water from most contaminants found in tap water, and also removes bacteria, viruses, and cysts. It reduces excessive water hardness from any initial level.
4. K7M – mineralizing cartridge that enriches water with minerals essential for health. Used in RO systems. Modified ion-exchange Aqualen fiber distributes the water stream across the entire filtration surface, which enables the highest quality filtration. It contains safe silver in an active ionic form. The cartridge enriches the water with an appropriate amount of minerals such as magnesium and calcium, without increasing water hardness or causing scale formation. It restores the water's original taste and helps prevent heart disease.

Biocera AntiOxidant Alkaline – additional cartridge for alkalizing and ionizing water

The set includes Biocera AntiOxidant Alkaline water-alkalizing and ionizing cartridge. This is an efficient, mineral-based antioxidant cartridge from the renowned Korean manufacturer Biocera. It uses patented Biocera technology enclosed in a large 2.5" x 11" filter cartridge.

The cartridge ionizes the water, raises its pH, and lowers ORP, that is the oxidation-reduction potential, to as much as -750 mV. A negative ORP value means the water acts as an antioxidant. A positive ORP value, on the other hand, indicates oxidizing properties. By comparison, in so-called “miracle” springs the REDOX potential is lower than -200 mV, while the BIOCERA A-A cartridge can lower ORP to as much as -750 mV. Such water acquires the properties of a strong and natural antioxidant and counteracts the aging processes of the body.
