Characteristics of individual cartridges
K5 – polypropylene pre-filter
The replaceable K5 cartridge is made of 100% polypropylene. Its task is to work as a pre-filter that traps mechanical impurities present in the water, such as sand and rust. As a result, it protects subsequent filtration stages from excessive load and helps maintain proper operation of the entire system.
The K5 cartridge is used in filters with a separate faucet and removes contaminants down to 5 microns.
K2 – carbon block with Aqualen fiber
The K2 cartridge is made using carbon block technology with Aqualen fiber and activated coconut shell carbon. This stage is responsible for effectively removing organic compounds and active chlorine from the water, as well as improving the taste and smell of the water.

K7M – mineralizing cartridge

The modified ion-exchange Aqualen fiber distributes the water stream across the entire filtration surface, enabling the highest filtration quality. The cartridge also contains safe silver in an active ionic form.
RO-50S – osmotic membrane for the new Morion version
RO-50S is a new type of osmotic membrane designed for the new version of Aquaphor Morion RO-101S. The osmotic membrane is used in RO series reverse osmosis systems and is responsible for the very precise water purification stage.
The membrane purifies water from most contaminants found in tap water, and also removes bacteria, viruses, and cysts. In addition, it reduces excessive water hardness from any initial level. The RO-50S model is used in the new-generation filter without a bottom drain: RO-101S Morion M and RO-101S Morion B. The membrane output is 7.8 l/h.
