Description
Standard 10-inch cartridge with demineralizing media. The cartridge is disassemblable - after removing it from the filter housing, the used media can be removed and replaced with a new one.
The cartridge housing has standard dimensions of 10" x 2 1/2".
Any filtering media can be placed in the housing - in this case, it is the DEMI MB400 media, for removing all ions from the water.
The housing is openable (disassemblable), reusable.
The set includes sponges that protect the inlet and outlet of the cartridge from media escaping.
The typical purpose of the cartridge is to polish water after the membrane in reverse osmosis systems to achieve zero or near-zero conductivity.
The wide spectrum of action of the demineralizing media is used in preparing water for laboratory tests and in professional aquaristics (mainly marine).
