What does filter-bed rinsing mean in practice?
After backfilling and during operation, it removes the fine fraction, accumulated sediment and regenerant residues from the entire layer.
When does it matter?
Starting without complete flushing may introduce dust into the installation and cause incorrect media placement.

The bed is first slowly watered and deaerated, then rinsed with the required flow until the drain is clear.
