RO3 Aqua Vita is an original aquarium filter with a complete set of connections, designed to improve water quality using the reverse osmosis method. It is one of the most advanced water purification methods, capable of removing up to 98% of mechanical impurities, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms.

The system is used to obtain pure water for marine and freshwater aquariums. It makes it easier to prepare water with zero general hardness, low pH, and an almost zero content of nitrogen compounds.

The water produced by this reverse osmosis filter can also be used for other applications, such as cosmetic, laboratory, or steam iron use.

Quick-connect fittings for easier installation and servicing

The system uses modern quick-connect fittings on the inline filters. This solution allows the water filter to be assembled quickly and then serviced conveniently on your own. An additional advantage is the mechanical lock of the sealing mechanism, which increases operational safety and helps maintain leak-tight connections.

Basic aquarium applications

• Reducing water conductivity – an important parameter for aquarists. The set is intended for freshwater aquariums, while for marine aquariums it is worth expanding the system with a DEMI module.
• Lowering pH – in most cases, the reduction is by 1-2 points.
• Water softening – the osmosis membrane effectively removes calcium and magnesium compounds from the water, reducing the general hardness of the water to zero or close to zero dH, depending on the parameters of the filtered water.

Filtration stages

1. WPL2

An inline cartridge made of polypropylene foam. It is responsible for removing sand, silt, rust particles, and other solid contaminants from the water. This is the first stage of protection for the entire water filtration system and an important safeguard for the subsequent stages. The cartridge should be replaced at least every 6 months.

2. WWL2

The inline carbon cartridge removes contaminants such as chlorine, chlorine compounds, and organic impurities from the water. As a result, it improves the operating conditions of the osmosis membrane and supports the effectiveness of the entire filtration process. The cartridge should be replaced at least every 6 months.

3. PENTAIR 100

The osmosis membrane is the key component of the set. It is an assembly of semi-permeable thin-film membranes working together with polypropylene nonwoven and activated carbon filters. This combination makes it possible to obtain truly clean and healthy water. The osmosis membrane removes up to 99% of dissolved compounds in water, as well as bacteria and viruses. The estimated membrane lifespan is approximately 3-5 years.
