Set of inserts FCPS20M10B FCCBHD10BB FCCBKDF10BB is a 3-stage Aquafilter set for 10-inch Big Blue® housing filters, designed for effective filtration and treatment of cold water. The set includes: a mechanical cartridge, a carbon cartridge, and a carbon cartridge with KDF®, so it supports installation protection, improves water taste and odor, and reduces selected mechanical and chemical contaminants. This is a practical water filtration system for domestic and utility applications, suitable as a water filter in advanced pre-filtration setups, also before more advanced solutions such as a reverse osmosis filter or reverse osmosis system.

1. FCPS20M10B – 20-micron mechanical filtration
The FCPS20M10B mechanical cartridge is designed for Big Blue® housings and stands out for its very good contaminant absorption. Its structure resembles foam, and its surface contains a large number of open-cell microbubbles, which promotes effective retention of solid impurities.
The cartridge effectively removes sand, silt, rust, and other mechanical contaminants from tap water. As a result, it helps protect domestic water installations and household appliances from deposits and premature wear. The polypropylene nonwoven fabric used in this model is resistant to chemicals and to the growth of microorganisms.

2. FCCBHD10BB – carbon cartridge with coconut shell carbon
FCCBHD10BB is a 10-inch cartridge for Big Blue® housings, filled with high-quality coconut shell carbon. The cartridge is designed for treating cold drinking water or utility water and is equipped with a final filter that prevents media particles from escaping outside the cartridge.
This model removes up to 99% of free chlorine, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons from the water, resulting in improved taste and odor. It also reduces chlorinated pesticides by up to 85%, as well as polyaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, and organic substances.

3. FCCBKDF10BB – carbon cartridge with KDF®
FCCBKDF10BB is a 10-inch Aquafilter® cartridge for Big Blue® housings, combining the action of activated carbon and KDF® media. This combination broadens the filtration range to selected chemical contaminants and supports maintaining high media performance.
The cartridge removes heavy metals from water, such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury, as well as iron compounds, hydrogen sulfide, and pesticides. The activated carbon used in it reduces chlorine, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons, improving the taste and odor of the water. It also limits the presence of polyaromatic compounds, phenol, benzene, and organic substances.
The KDF® media has bacteriostatic properties, which prevents the growth of bacterial flora on the filter media. The cartridge is intended for treating cold drinking water or utility water and has a final filter that prevents media particles from escaping outside the cartridge.
