DI resin is a high-purity mixture of cation exchanger and anion exchanger intended for the final removal of ions from RO permeate.

What does DI resin mean in practice?

High regeneration mixture polishes RO water, achieving very low conductivity until one component breaks through.

When does it matter?

CO2 and silica can consume the anion exchanger without a proportionately high TDS indication at the beginning of the cycle.

Which solutions are related to it?

Contact with air is minimized, resistivity is measured and the resin is replaced as required by the final process.
