Key components of the device

BNT7650 control valve

The softener is equipped with a BNT7650 series controller with a Polish-language menu, making configuration and everyday operation easy and intuitive. It is a metered valve that supports economical device operation and convenient management of the softening process.

The valve is equipped with a residual hardness valve, i.e. MIXING, which allows precise adjustment of the outlet water hardness. The set also includes a BY-PASS valve to facilitate installation operation.

PUROLITE C100-E ion exchange resin

The device uses 30 liters of high-quality, monospherical PUROLITE C100-E ion exchange resin. It is responsible for effective water softening and protecting the household installation against the effects of excessive hardness.

During resin bed operation, calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions. As a result, soft water is delivered to the installation, while the ions responsible for hardness are discharged to the drain during the device regeneration process.

Free: 2-stage pre-filter for softener protection

The set includes a free 2-stage pre-filter with a reusable mesh cartridge and an antibacterial cartridge. The set is installed before the softener to improve the quality of the water supplied to the device and thus more effectively protect the resin bed inside the softener.

Such a water filter is an important support for the entire treatment system. Although it is not a system such as reverse osmosis, an osmotic filter, or a reverse osmosis filter used for drinking water, it performs a very important protective function in a domestic water treatment system.

Housing with 3-piece body

The housing has a 3-piece body. This solution makes cartridge replacement easier, because to unscrew the housing, it is enough to unscrew only the ring. There is no need to rotate the entire sump, as in the case of 2-piece versions.

Filtration stage I: Aquafilter FCPNN50M

In the first stage, Aquafilter FCPNN50M is used, i.e. a reusable mesh cartridge. It is used to remove mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, and suspended solids. Its advantage is the possibility of cleaning and reusing it for water filtration.

Filtration stage II: Aquafilter FCPS20-AB

The second stage is Aquafilter FCPS20-AB – a 10-inch polypropylene foam cartridge made using Melt-Blown technology. It retains mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, and silt with an accuracy of 20 microns.

The cartridge uses BACinix™ nanosilver technology. The presence of nanosilver particles in the cartridge structure creates an environment that hinders the growth of microorganisms and has a bacteriostatic effect, which additionally extends cartridge life.

At this stage, calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions. Ideally dechlorinated, safe, and soft water is discharged into the water installation. The “hardness” ions (calcium and magnesium) are discharged to the drain during the device regeneration process.
