Free gift: 2-stage pre-filter for resin bed protection

The set includes a 2-stage pre-filter with a reusable mesh cartridge and an antibacterial cartridge. The set is installed before the softener to improve water quality and protect the resin bed inside the unit. It is a practical addition to the installation that helps limit the inflow of mechanical impurities into the treatment system.

Filter housing design

The housing has a 3-piece design. This solution makes cartridge replacement easier, because to unscrew the housing it is enough to loosen only the ring. There is no need to rotate the entire sump, as in 2-piece versions.

Complete filtration stages included in the pre-filter set

• Stage I filtration: Aquafilter FCPNN50M – a reusable mesh cartridge designed to remove mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, and suspended solids. Its advantage over many other solutions is the possibility of cleaning and reusing it for water filtration.
• Stage II filtration: Aquafilter FCPS20-AB – a 10-inch cartridge made of AQUAFILTER polypropylene foam using Melt-blown technology, retaining mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, and silt with 20-micron precision. BACinix™ nanosilver technology involves the use of nanosilver particles in the cartridge structure, creating an environment that destroys microorganisms and prevents their growth, providing a bacteriostatic effect and extending cartridge life.

The pre-filter plays an important role in the entire water preparation system. It can work with other installation solutions, such as an additional filter cartridge in a point-of-use installation, reverse osmosis, or a reverse osmosis system used to obtain drinking water in the kitchen.
