RO7 SLIM REDOX – a compact system for clean, mineralized and alkaline water

RO7 SLIM REDOX is a reverse osmosis system designed for users who expect not only high purification efficiency, but also everyday convenience when using water at home. Seven filtration stages make it possible to obtain clean water, naturally mineralized water, and alkaline REDOX water.

This solution works well wherever there is a need for constant access to safe water for drinking, cooking and preparing beverages, while saving space under the sink is also important.

Key features of the system

• System based on 2-inch inline cartridges, which makes replacement much simpler and less time-consuming than in traditional osmosis systems.
• Thanks to the osmosis membrane, bacteria, viruses, contamination and allergens are retained, while carbon filters improve the taste and smell of the water.
• The system includes a mineralizer and ionizer for producing alkaline REDOX water.
• The whole unit is enclosed in a high-quality compact housing with a depth of only 15 cm.
• Purified water is stored in a 12-liter pressure tank, holding about 8 liters of water, from which it is dispensed on demand.
• The system features a modern dual spout, allowing separate dispensing of clean water after the osmosis process and additionally mineralized and alkaline water.
• The set includes an anti-flood valve, which protects against flooding and cuts off the water supply in the event of a failure.

Alkaline REDOX ionized water

Water obtained from the RO7 SLIM REDOX system after ionization acquires the properties of REDOX alkaline water. It is described as a strong and natural antioxidant, rich in free electrons, supporting the reduction of the body’s aging processes.

REDOX alkaline water parameters

• Reduces the oxidation-reduction potential from -50 mV to -400 mV.
• Releases active hydrogen above 200 µg/L.
• Alkalizes the water to a pH of 8–10.

Properties described for alkaline water

• Has deacidifying properties and supports maintaining acid-base balance.
• Helps counteract diseases, including gout, diabetes, hypertension, kidney stones, stomach hyperacidity, obesity, cancers and acid reflux.
• Beneficially affects blood sugar, triglycerides, cholesterol and uric acid levels.
• Strengthens the immune system, among other things through antioxidant action, more efficient elimination of toxins, and better nourishment and oxygenation of cells.
• Helps counteract chronic fatigue. People who drink enough good-quality water quickly notice a difference in well-being and energy levels.
• Hydrates well and supports toxin removal. The structure of the alkaline water molecule is said to allow it to pass through cell membranes, leading to proper hydration. Water with a high positive REDOX potential does not have this property, because its structure does not allow it to penetrate cells.
• Oxygenates cells. This is said to protect, among other things, against the development of cancer, which develops best in an environment with low oxygen content, i.e. anaerobic conditions. When oxygen is lacking, fermentation processes occur, producing acids, and such an environment promotes disease and body aging.
• Delays muscle fatigue thanks to its buffering effect on lactic acid formed during physical exertion. As a result, people who exercise tire more slowly and gain more energy.

Molecular filtration – how reverse osmosis works

Reverse osmosis is described as one of the most effective and natural ways of purifying water. It is also called molecular purification, because unwanted elements are removed already at the molecular level.

The osmosis membrane is made of a membrane that allows only water molecules of about 0.1 nanometer in size to pass through. Contaminants such as chlorine, fluorine, industrial waste, bacteria, fungi, heavy metals, lead, bromine and many others are retained and discharged with wastewater into the sewer system.

Three stages of molecular filtration

• Pre-filtration – removes larger mechanical and organic contaminants from the water and protects the membrane from premature wear.
• Filtration through the osmosis membrane – the main purification stage, in which the water passes through the osmosis membrane.
• Post-filtration – final water treatment, i.e. improved taste, mineralization and alkalization.

Which contaminants the system removes

The system eliminates bacteria as well as more than 160 contaminants, including over 145 substances harmful to health:

• particles smaller than 0.2 microns, including asbestos, sediment, dirt and limescale,
• chlorine dioxide,
• lead and mercury,
• fluorine,
• 33 pesticides and pesticide by-products,
• 42 types of endocrine-disrupting substances,
• 13 by-products of the disinfection process,
• 9 pharmaceutical contaminants,
• radon and radon decay by-products found in drinking water,
• carcinogenic substances potentially present in water.

Anti-flood valve

The set includes a valve that protects against flooding. In the event of a failure, it cuts off the water supply, increasing the safety of operating the system in the kitchen.
