RO4 Aqua Vita AKVALINE DEMI aquarium filter

Complete, 4-stage, ready-to-install reverse osmosis system, with VONTRON 75 GPD membrane and MB400 RESIN.

The filter is primarily intended for marine and freshwater aquaristics, allowing for perfectly purified and completely demineralized water. It removes up to 98% of all water contaminants: mechanical, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms. It allows for water with zero conductivity - 0 ppm - a parameter particularly important for aquarists with marine tanks (saltwater).

A Polish installation manual is included with each device.

The system is designed to improve water quality using reverse osmosis, one of the most advanced water purification methods.

Basic applications of the RO filter for aquaristic purposes:

• Reduction of water conductivity - this parameter is mainly important for aquarists with marine tanks (saltwater) to achieve water with zero conductivity 0 ppm.
• Reduction of pH – the average reduction is by 1-2 points*.
• Water softening – the osmotic membrane effectively removes calcium and magnesium compounds from the water, thus reducing the overall hardness of the water to zero or close to zero Dh** depending on the parameters of the filtered water.

Filtration stages:

1. WPL2 - Linear cartridge made of polypropylene foam. They are used to filter sand, silt, rust particles, and other solid contaminants from drinking water, effectively protecting household appliances. (replaced every 6 months at most)

2. WWL2 - Linear carbon cartridges remove solid contaminants from water such as: chlorine, chlorine compounds, organic contaminants. (replaced every 6 months at most)

3. VONTRON 75 – osmotic membrane. This is a set of semi-permeable thin-film membranes. Combined with polypropylene and activated carbon filters, it allows for truly clean and healthy water. The osmotic membrane removes up to 99% of all dissolved compounds in water, as well as bacteria and viruses. (the lifespan of the membrane is estimated at about 3 - 5 years)

4. RESIN MB400 PUROLITE Ready-to-use, homogeneous mixture of anion and cation resin from Purolite intended for water demineralization, removing residual contaminants. MB 400 is used in domestic and industrial devices for further purification of osmotic water.

Connection options:

1. 3/8” connection (about 15 mm)
2. 1/2" connection (about 20 mm)
3. 3/4" connection (washing machine/dishwasher), (about 25 mm)
4. 1/2" connection (for shower), (about 20 mm)
5. If no connection is selected, we will add a standard 1/2"

• Complete, ready-to-install RO4 filter with a restrictor.
• VONTRON 75 GPD osmotic membrane.
• Mounting brackets for the filter (in the cabinet or on the wall).
• Drain connection (clamp).
• 5m hose.

• Water connection TO CHOOSE! 3/8” or 1/2” or 3/4” or shower connection* (please provide information after purchase). If no connection is selected, we send the standard 1/2" *in the case of choosing a shower connection, the set will not include a brass valve as the shower faucet serves as the valve and is unnecessary.
