Original RO3 Aqua Vita aquarium filter with Vontron membrane 150 GPD(up to 570 liters per 24h) and a complete set of connections.

The system is designed to improve water quality using reverse osmosis, one of the most advanced water purification methods. It removes up to 98% of all water contaminants: mechanical, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms. It is used to obtain pure water in marine and freshwater aquaristics to achieve water with zero general hardness, low pH, and almost zero nitrogen compound content.

The system uses the latest solution called quick-connects on linear filters. This allows for easy assembly and subsequent servicing on your own. The quick-connects have additional protection in the form of a sealing mechanism lock. This guarantees quick installation and safe operation.

The water produced by this filter can also be used for cosmetic and laboratory purposes, and it can be used for steam irons.

Basic applications of the RO filter for aquaristic purposes:

• Reduction of water conductivity – an important parameter for aquarists, this set is intended for freshwater aquaristics; for marine aquaristics, we recommend expanding the system with a DEMI module (available in our other auctions).
• Reduction of pH – in most cases, the reduction is by 1-2 points*.
• Water softening – the osmotic membrane effectively removes calcium and magnesium compounds from the water, thereby reducing the general hardness of the water to zero or close to zero Dh* *depending on the parameters of the filtered water.

Filtration stages:

1. WPL2 - Linear cartridge made of polypropylene foam. They are used to filter sand, silt, rust particles, and other solid contaminants from drinking water, effectively protecting household appliances. (to be replaced every 6 months maximum)

2. WWL2 - Carbon linear cartridges remove solid contaminants from water such as: chlorine, chlorine compounds, organic contaminants. (to be replaced every 6 months maximum)

3. VONTRON 150 – osmotic membrane. This is a set of semi-permeable thin-film membranes. Combined with polypropylene fiber and activated carbon filters, it allows for truly pure and healthy water. The osmotic membrane removes up to 99% of all dissolved compounds in water, as well as bacteria and viruses. (the membrane's lifespan is estimated at about 3 - 5 years)

Connections to choose from:

1. 3/8” connection (approximately 15 mm)
2. 1/2" connection (approximately 20 mm)
3. 3/4" connection (washing machine/dishwasher), (approximately 25 mm)
4. 1/2" connection (for shower), (approximately 20 mm)
5. If no connection is selected, we will add the standard 1/2"
