3-stage reverse osmosis system with FILMTEC 100GPD membrane.
RO3 Aqua Vita aquarium filter FILMTEC 100gpd is a 3-stage reverse osmosis system for preparing very pure water for freshwater and marine aquariums. This RO filter with the original FILMTEC 100 GPD membrane effectively supports water treatment, reducing general hardness, conductivity, and many undesirable contaminants. Thanks to quick-connect fittings and a complete set of connection accessories, the system is convenient to install, easy to service later, and ready for everyday use.

The original RO3 Aqua Vita aquarium filter with a FILMTEC 100 GPD membrane and a full set of connection accessories has been designed to improve water quality using the reverse osmosis method. It is one of the most advanced purification methods, used wherever high filtration efficiency and consistent water quality are important.
The system removes up to 99.99% of contaminants present in water, including mechanical impurities, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms. In aquarium applications, it makes it possible to obtain water with zero general hardness, low pH, and an almost zero content of nitrogen compounds, which is especially important when preparing water for demanding tanks.
The filter is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums. The water produced by this system can also be used for cosmetic purposes, laboratory use, and steam irons.
In aquaristics, controlling water parameters has a direct impact on tank stability and the well-being of fish and plants. The RO3 Aqua Vita system helps prepare water with parameters desired for many types of aquariums.

*The final result depends on the parameters of the filtered water. For marine applications, it is worth considering expanding the system with an additional DEMI module.
The system uses quick-connect fittings on the inline filters, which significantly simplifies installation and later maintenance. This solution makes it easy to install the device and then service it independently.
The quick-connect fittings have additional protection in the form of a sealing mechanism lock. This translates into fast installation and safe everyday use.
An inline cartridge made of polypropylene foam. It is responsible for filtering sand, silt, rust particles, and other solid impurities from the water. This is the first stage of protection for the entire system, supporting the proper operation of the subsequent filtration elements.

The cartridge should be replaced at least every 6 months.
The inline carbon cartridge removes contaminants such as chlorine, chlorine compounds, and organic impurities from the water. This stage improves the quality of the water fed to the membrane and helps protect its operating efficiency.
The cartridge should be replaced at least every 6 months.
The RO membrane is the key element of the system. It is a set of semi-permeable thin-film membranes working together with polypropylene nonwoven and activated carbon filters, making it possible to obtain truly pure water.
The RO membrane removes up to 99.99% of all compounds dissolved in water, as well as bacteria and viruses. The estimated membrane lifespan is about 5 years.

The system is available with different connection variants, making it easier to match the set to the installation location.
When choosing the shower connection, the set does not include a brass valve because the shower mixer functions as the valve and no additional element is needed.
The filter is prepared for installation. This makes installation smooth, and later cartridge replacement and basic servicing can be carried out independently.
For the water filtration system to operate at full efficiency, the pre-filter replacement schedule must be followed and appropriate operating conditions for the device must be maintained. The WPL2 polypropylene cartridge and the WWL2 carbon cartridge should be replaced at least every 6 months, while the lifespan of the FILMTEC 100 GPD membrane is estimated at about 5 years.
The final efficiency and the ratio of pure water to rejected water are influenced primarily by the pressure and temperature of the feed water. To maintain proper operating parameters, the system should be used within the range compliant with the technical specification.
*Maximum capacity up to 370 l/day at a pressure of 6 bar and a water temperature of 25°C.

| System type | 3-stage reverse osmosis system |
|---|---|

| Weight | approx. 2 kg |
| Minimum / maximum operating pressure | 2.5 bar – 6 bar |
| Operating temperature | 2–42 °C |
| Pure water to reject water ratio | 1:2 – 1:6 depending on water pressure and temperature, average 1:3 |
| WPL2 cartridge replacement | at least every 6 months |

| Estimated membrane lifespan | about 5 years |
Yes. The set is intended for aquarium use and works particularly well in freshwater aquariums, where reducing general hardness and conductivity, and preparing pure water for further treatment, are important.
Yes, the system is also suitable for marine aquariums. For such applications, it is worth considering expanding the setup with a DEMI module to prepare water for marine tanks even more precisely.
The system removes up to 99.99% of mechanical impurities, dissolved compounds, and microorganisms. The pre-filters are responsible for retaining solid particles, chlorine, chlorine compounds, and organic impurities, while the RO membrane also reduces bacteria and viruses.
The FILMTEC 100 GPD membrane is the key filtration element. It is responsible for very precise water purification, reducing dissolved compounds, and softening water by removing calcium and magnesium compounds.
The WPL2 cartridge and the WWL2 cartridge should be replaced at least every 6 months. The estimated lifespan of the RO membrane is about 5 years, although the actual service life depends on water quality and operating conditions.
No. The system is prepared for installation, and the quick-connect fittings used make installation and later servicing easier. The set also includes a Polish installation manual.
You can choose from 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4” connections for a washing machine or dishwasher, and a 1/2” connection for a shower. If no variant is specified, the standard 1/2" connection is shipped.
The maximum system capacity is up to 370 liters per day. Please note that this result applies to operating conditions at a pressure of 6 bar and a water temperature of 25°C.
Yes. The water produced by this system can also be used for cosmetic purposes, laboratory use, and steam irons.
