The water filter with backwashing ensures a continuous supply of filtered water even during the cleaning process of the filter mesh. The fine mesh filter captures foreign bodies such as rust particles, hemp fibers, sand grains, etc.

All components of the device meet the requirements of current DIN/DVGW standards. Used in both domestic and industrial installations.

Operating principle:

• The filter cartridge consists of an upper and lower part.
• In the "filtration" position of the knob - the upper filter cartridge is closed so that water only passes through the lower, main cartridge from the outside to the inside.
• When the ball valve is opened for backwashing, the main filter cartridge is pushed down until the water supply from the outside is stopped. At the same time, the water flow to the upper part of the filter is opened.
• For connection sizes from 1/2" to 11/4", a double spiral backwashing technology is used, allowing simultaneous backwashing of the filter mesh in the upper and lower parts of the filter cartridge.
• The water used for cleaning passes through the screen, rotor, and main filter cartridge from the inside out. This means that the cartridge is thoroughly cleaned over its entire surface at full inlet pressure.
• The filter automatically returns to the working position after the ball valve is closed.
• The internal rotor flushes out contaminants adhering to the mesh through the discharge openings.

Installation guidelines:

• Ensuring access to the device so that the pressure gauge is clearly visible - with the transparent filter housing, it is easy to determine the degree of contamination of the filter mesh, facilitating maintenance and monitoring
• Installation directly after the water meter in accordance with DIN 1988, Part 2
