What the set includes

The cartridge set for the RO4 DEMI MB400 filter includes a complete set of consumable elements needed for system operation:

How this cartridge set works

The set operates in stages, so each element is responsible for a different scope of water purification and preparation. This sequence is important for the efficiency of the entire reverse osmosis system and for protecting its key components.

Stage 1: Aqua Vita FCPS20 sediment filter

This is a high-quality cartridge with a filtration precision of 20 microns. Its task is to retain mechanical impurities present in tap water.

At this stage, contaminants such as:

• sand,
• silt,
• rust,
• other particles up to 20 µm in size.

The cartridge is made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric with very good contaminant absorption properties. Its structure resembles foam, with a large number of open-cell microbubbles on the surface, which promotes effective capture of suspended solids and particulate matter.

The filter has PZH, TUV, BPA FREE, and PHALATE FREE approvals.

Stage 2: Aqua Vita FCCBL10 carbon block

The second filtration stage is responsible for removing contaminants affecting the composition, smell, and taste of the water, as well as for protecting the osmotic membrane. In systems such as an osmosis filter or a standard RO water filter, this stage is essential for proper and safe membrane operation.

The sintered activated carbon filter removes from the water:

• 98% to 99% of free chlorine,
• chlorine-based solvents,
• aromatic hydrocarbons, which translates into improved taste and odor of the water,
• up to 85% of chlorine-derived pesticides,
• polycyclic compounds,
• phenol,
• benzene,
• organic substances.

The carbon block is distinguished by lower dusting than carbon granules, which is important in the operation of systems requiring stable performance of subsequent filtration stages.

The filter has PZH, TUV, BPA FREE, and PHALATE FREE approvals.

Stage 3: MB400 Purolite resin

The final element of the set is a ready-to-use, homogeneous mixture of anion and cation resin from Purolite. The MB400 resin is intended for water demineralization and removal of residual contaminants.

This solution is used in domestic and industrial devices for final purification of osmosis water. Thanks to this stage, the water filtration system can operate more effectively wherever very high water purity is required after passing through the osmotic membrane.

The cartridge fits 10-inch housings.
