What does water ozonation mean in practice?
Ozone is a strong, short-lived oxidant produced on site, which reacts with microorganisms, metals and some organic compounds.
When does it matter?
It does not leave a lasting protection in the network and in water with bromides it may create bromates requiring control.
Which solutions are related to it?
The design includes a generator, effective gas dissolution, contact time, degassing, filtration of reaction products and process monitoring.
