Description
Complete UV lamp UV1G-M with Philips 6W bulb and power supply for osmosis filters and 1/4" hose filters.
The UV lamp is particularly recommended for well water or other non-chlorinated water. Ultraviolet rays act strongly bactericidal and ensure that no living organisms (viruses, bacteria) will be found in our water.
Illuminating water with ultraviolet light is an effective and increasingly popular disinfection method that does not introduce any chemicals into the water. This technology is based on a purely physical process that does not change the taste and smell of water. UV light is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of 100-400 nm. The UV-C range from 200 to 800 nm is responsible for the bactericidal and virucidal action on microorganisms. By using the properly selected time and intensity of ultraviolet radiation, pathogenic microorganisms can be completely destroyed by the destruction of their DNA.
The action of the UV lamp causes the immediate extermination of up to 99.98% of viruses and bacteria living in the water. The lamp can also complement a home water filtration system, enriching it with a stage of microbiological sterilization.
