What does salt regeneration mean in practice?
The brine supplies excess Na+, which displaces calcium, magnesium, or other bound ions from the selective medium into the drain.
When does it matter?
The process does not automatically clean the bed of iron, organics and biofilm, which may permanently reduce capacity.
Which solutions are related to it?
The purity of salt, dose, suction, slow rinsing and final quality are checked, and dirt is removed by an appropriate service.
