UV disinfection is the irradiation of flowing water with UV-C radiation, which damages the genetic material of microorganisms without removing chemical pollutants.

What does UV disinfection mean in practice?

UV-C radiation inactivates microorganisms while flowing through the chamber, without leaving any disinfectant in the installation.

When does it matter?

Turbidity, color, iron and precipitate on the quartz shield reduce the dose, and the lack of residual effect does not protect against re-contamination behind the lamp.

Which solutions are related to it?

The lamp is selected for UV flow and transmission, installed after filtration, and the cover is regularly cleaned and the UV lamp replaced.
