What does recovery RO mean in practice?
Recovery is calculated as the proportion of permeate in the feed stream, and its increase increases the salt concentration on the concentrate side.
When does it matter?
Too high recovery increases the risk of scaling and fouling, even if it temporarily reduces the amount of effluent.
